Blue LED light may cause temporary hyperpigmentation on darker skin tones. Skin types with Fitzpatrick Skin Type V and above (usually brown and darker skin tones) are at a higher risk of developing hyperpigmentation. If this occurs, it is recommended that you discontinue use of the device.
